Propositional Phrase

You’re a noun of renown,
A pluperfect clown,
All other tenses take warning.

So conjugate me,
Declineate me,
Just verb me again in the morning.

  1. here is the original poem before jay “improved” it:

    Propositional Phrase

    The way you verb me
    tends to unnerve me
    in that particular way

    You’re a noun of renown
    a pluperfect clown
you make me, in the present, tense

    So —
    Conjugate me
    Delineate me
    Deconstruct me

    Just verb me again
    in the morning
